Aimetis A10D Thin Client Remote Help

Before using Aimetis Remote for the Aimetis A10D Thin Client, ensure the following pre-requisites are met:

Learn How To:

Create a Device Connection

The first time Remote App is launched, you are prompted to create a connection to a Thin Client device using its IP Address and user credentials. Your network administrator may need to provide these details.

  1. Tap the Plus (+) icon.

  2. To detect available Thin Client devices on your network automatically, tap Detected Thin Clients and select a device from the list.

  3. Otherwise, specify the Thin Client IP Address and Port.

  4. Specify the User Name and Password configured on the device.

  5. Specify whether this connection is the default connection. When you enable the Default Connection option, Remote App automatically connects to this Thin Client on startup. Only one connection can be set as the default connection. If you add a new connection and specify it as the default connection, all other connections will have this option automatically disabled.

  6. The new connection is automatically saved .

  7. Tap Connect.

Once Remote App is connected to a Thin Client device, the last selected camera view loads. If no camera views are defined, create a new camera view.
