TCP Listener

The TCP Listener video analytic detects metadata over a TCP socket and records it. You can search for metadata to find the associated image or video, or set up alarms when certain metadata is received.

When sending metadata to a camera, use the camera port defined by the Symphony port allocation scheme. For more information, see KB Article 10449.

To test TCP listener alarms, see KB Article 10466.
