Axis A1001- Configuring the On-Board Aux Inputs
Prerequisites:
- You must haveSymphony AC version 1.1.x or above
The A1001 has 2 on-board Aux I/O that can be configured as an Input or Output. These appear as programmable devices in the hardware tree with the letter “P” in the device address denoting that they can be either an Input or Output. In the hardware manager, unlock the module. Under your Axis driver, navigate to your Axis A1001 controller. Under the Axis Door module, you will see Aux I/O 1 and Aux I/O 2. Click on the appropriate Aux I/O to view its properties.
To Configure as an Input: Set the “Device” property of the programmable device to “Input”. (See Figure 1 below) This will allow you to monitor real-time state changes of the input from the Controller Status window in Hardware Manager, Graphic Maps, and the Event/Alarm Manager. To Configure as an Output: Set the “Device” property of the programmable device to “Output”. (See Figure 1 below) This will allow you to right click on the device and activate/deactivate the state of the output. (See Figure 2 below) Event and status for activating and deactivating the output does not display in Axis A1001 firmware 1.50 and all prior firmware versions, but will be included in future A1001 firmware beyond 1.50.
