View Search Results

After you perform an Advanced Search or a Quick Search, the View Search Results Dialog automatically opens. To manually open this dialog, click Search > View Search Results.

 

 

The View Search Results dialog shows all your previous searches.

 

By default, 10 search results appear on the dialog. You can navigate to other search results by clicking the forward and back arrows on the top left of the dialog.

To play a search, click Launch Video. AIRA Player will automatically open and will play the video.

To save a search to your computer, click Save Video. The video will be saved in .aira format to your PC. You will require AIRA Player to play .aira files. To save as an .mpeg format or other options, click More..

 

After clicking More... the following context menu opens.

 

Play on NTSC Out

If your video card supports it, this allows you to save video to a VCR.

Play Using AiraPlayer (.aira)

The best way to view search output. Will play video using Aimetis' player.

Play using MediaPlayer (.mpeg)

This program is installed on Windows XP by default. This option will only be enabled if you first use the "Convert to MPEG" menu item. This is required because AIRA server saves videos in the .AIRA format by default.

Save Video (.aira)

Saves the video to your local computer in the native .aira format which can be played using AIRA Player.

Save Video (.mpeg)

Saves the video to your local computer in the MPEG4v2 format which can be played in a wide variety of media players including Microsoft Media Player. This option will only be enabled if you first use the "Convert to MPEG" menu item. This is required because AIRA server saves videos in the .aira format by default.

Delete

Deletes the video files (.aira and .mpeg if it exists) from the server for this search result.

Convert to .mpeg

Converts an .aira file to .mpeg standard. You must do this before you can use the other .mpeg options in this menu.

 

You can automatically burn the movie to disk by clicking

To delete a search result, click the   button.
