Set Up Display Content and Layout of Client Interface

This tab lets you configure how some status content and how main areas of the interface are displayed.

 

Client Settings

 

How to Access

1.      Click the Settings icon and select Settings. The Symphony Client Settings dialog box opens with the Startup tab active.

2.      Click the Display tab.

 

Symphony Client

 

Allows you to control whether Symphony Client is restored to standard screen size when an alarm occurs. You can also select whether a video panel is highlighted when it is the active panel.

 

Panel Name

 

Allows you to select what information (Camera Id, Farm Name, Camera Name, and Panel Id) appears in the panel name.

 

PTZ Buttons

 

Allows you to select the size of the PTZ navigation buttons.

 

State Info Bar

 

Allows you to enable/disable warning notifications for offline servers, farms, cameras, and storage devices.

 

Application Log 

 

Allows you to configure how messages are displayed in the Application Log panel. Verbose indicates a large quantity of information will be displayed.

You can also select whether failed connection attempts are displayed in the log.

 

Dialog Preferences

 

Allows you to reset all the dialog boxes back to their initial set state, so that they will display the help information with the Do not show this again option
