Add a GIS Map

Maps Overview

View a Map

1.      In Symphony Client, click the Settings icon and select Map Editor. Maps are sorted alphabetically.

2.      Click New Map and select GIS Map. The ADD GIS Map dialog opens.

3.      Give the map an easily identifiable name.

4.      Enter the Server Address of where the map is located. For example:

http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Topo_Map/MapServer

5.      Click Add Map. The map appears in the map editor.

6.      Zoom in/out using the mouse wheel. Pan the map by left-clicking and dragging the mouse.

7.      Add cameras, rules, and map labels as necessary and click OK.
