Map Editor

Add, delete, or swap a map. Remove a camera/hot link/rule icon.

Maps Overview

View a Map

Add a Map

1.      Click the Settings icon and select Map Editor.

2.      Click New Map and then browse for the image file you want to use for the new map (jpg, gif or bmp) and click Open. The map is displayed.

3.      The new map is listed with its filename. You can edit the filename in the list.

4.      Click OK.

Delete a Map

1.      Click the Settings icon and select Map Editor.

2.      Select the map you want to delete and click the Delete Map button.

3.      Click OK.

Remove a camera/hot link/rule Icon from a Map

1.      Click the Settings icon and select Map Editor.

2.      Select the map containing the icon you want to remove.

3.      Right-click on the icon. Select Remove from Map.

4.      Click OK.

Change the Map Image While Retaining Device Icons

1.      Click the Settings icon and select Map Editor.

2.      Click Change Image. The Upload Image Map dialog box opens. Select an image and click Open. All device icons are retained. Only the underlying map image has changed.

3.      Click OK.
