Symphony settings can be changed by modifying the configuration settings directly, which are stored in the SQL database. The configuration can be accessed directly through Symphony Client. This may be required for less common features that do not have a graphical user interface and must be configured through the configuration files directly.
IMPORTANT: Modifying configuration incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall Symphony. Aimetis cannot guarantee that problems resulting from incorrectly modifying the configuration files can be solved.
1. Click Server Configuration > Manual Configuration Editor.
2. Select an existing setting or click the Add a new setting field.
3. Enter or modify values under each column as necessary.
4. Click OK to save changes.
5. Restart the Symphony services for the changes to take effect.
