Although Symphony Client is installed automatically
during the setup of the server, the client can be installed separately
on client PCs. It is not recommended to actively use the client software
on the server itself. Aimetis Symphony includes to three main components. The server, the client software, and a standalone player. When installing the server, the client software is automatically installed as all server configuration is achieved through the client. For help on installing Symphony for the first time, consult the Aimetis Symphony Installation Guide.
After installation has completed, it is required to setup the following, at a minimum, in order for Symphony to function properly.
The remaining steps (shown below) do not have to be performed but are recommended:
Customize Camera Tree - configure a custom camera tree for easier navigation
Customize Site Map - enter the map that appears in the top right corner of the Main Console.
